With its easy to find Pacific Highway access, Opal Cove Resort Coffs Harbour is located on absolute beachfront in Korora Bay, 5 minutes north of Coffs Harbour and is easily accessed by all forms of transport being only 11 kms from the airport and 7kms from bus, coach and rail terminals. Enjoy the laid back friendly atmosphere as you relax poolside or get your blood racing on an adventurous excursion. The choice is yours.
Arriving by Car
Just 554 kilometres north of Sydney and 427 kilometres south of Brisbane, Coffs Harbour is a popular midway point along the Pacific Highway. If you are driving with a GPS, enter “Opal Boulevard” into the street address which will bring you straight to Opal Cove Resort’s front door.
Arriving by Train
Travel with Countrylink Rail and experience the best of regional NSW. Regular daily services operate from both Sydney and Brisbane. From the Railwawy Station, Opal Cove Resort is a short 8.4km (approx 12 min) drive. Taxi services are available.
Arriving by Plane
Qantas Link and Virgin Blue offer daily direct flights of just over an hour to and from Sydney and direct flights from Melbourne on Saturdays. From the airport, Opal Cove Resort is a short 11km (approx 14 min) drive. Taxi and Car Hire services are available.
🚧 Important Notice – Changes to Opal Cove Resort Exit 🚧
From the beginning of June, access to Opal Cove Resort from the Pacific Highway will change due to roadworks.
Guests will now only be able to turn left in and left out at Opal Boulevard.
This means:
You can only enter the resort from the southbound lane of the Pacific Highway.
When exiting, you can only turn left towards Coffs Harbour.
These changes are part of important road upgrades. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

🧭Coming from the south? Here’s how to get to the resort:
If you’re travelling north on the Pacific Highway and need to access Opal Cove Resort:
Take the exit towards Solitary Islands Way / Sapphire Beach.
At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Solitary Islands Way, and cross the bridge.
At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the Pacific Highway on-ramp.
Merge back onto the Pacific Highway heading south.
Continue on the highway until you see the Opal Cove Resort sign.
Turn left at Opal Boulevard to enter the resort.
🧭Leaving Opal Cove Resort to travel north? Here’s how to access the Pacific Highway northbound:
Exit the resort by turning left onto Opal Boulevard.
Turn left again to head south on the Pacific Highway and
Turn right around James Small Drive
At the first roundabout, take the third exit.
At the next roundabout, take the second exit to access the Pacific Highway northbound.
Merge onto the Pacific Highway and continue travelling north.
