Reception
Covered drop off point, flat wide entrance with tile floor and some carpet areas. Seating area with lounges and high counter. Lift access to rooms, however accessible rooms are on the main reception level & lifts are not required when accessing the accessible rooms. Reception is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Parking
We have 1 dedicated accessible car spaces near the entrance to the Resort. Additional Car Spaces are located in the main carpark.
We also have a Porte Cochere at the entrance to the Resort which provides all weather access to the Resort.
Restaurant
Accessible access to Horizons Restaurant & Bar is via the lifts on ground level. A ramp from Ground level connects the lifts/outdoor terrace and Horizons Restaurant.
Access to the Restaurant via the Terrace is not undercover – during wet weather or at any other time, please let our friendly staff know if you require assistance – we do have access to umbrellas & may also be able to access alternative routes to the Restaurant.
Accommodation
We have 3 accessible rooms in the main building located on level 2 with direct access from the Reception area.
Accessible Resortside Rooms (Queen bed + Single Bed)
- Room entrance 760mm wide lever handle
- Desk seat in room for table 630mm clearance underneath
- Balcony has sliding door and big lip to get out
- Audio smoke alarms
- Closed caption TV
- Interconnecting room is also available
- Beds can be raised (providing staff are notified) to assist with transferring to the bed or for hoist access (Please note details for hoist hire is listed below)
Bathroom Facilities:
- Entrance door 770mm wide opening inwards
- Large shower recess with grab rail and adjustable shower head. No folding seat but has tile bench
- Basin is 1400mm min away from pan and basin is 960mm above floor
We are upgrading our accommodation options so that we can provide additional ‘easy access rooms’. Please contact our Reservations team who will endeavour to assist with your individual requirements.
Pool Area
Our pool area is a friendly, inviting and accessible space, with wide openings.
Accessible access to the pool area is via the lifts on ground level. A ramp from Ground level connects the lifts/outdoor terrace and the pool area.
Vision & Hearing
Certified assistance animals are permitted.
We can also provide pen & paper to help with the exchanging of information. All our TV’s have closed-caption capabilities.
Equipment Hire on the Coffs Coast
We can arrange any equipment such as bed lifts, mobility aids/scooters, wheelchairs and toilet aids to be delivered to your unit from Willaid Coffs Harbour (please note this is at the guests’ expense).
